Oksana Kuziakiv is the Executive Director of the Institute for Economic Research and
Policy Consulting (IER), a leading Ukrainian think tank based in Kyiv. With over 25 years of
experience in public policy research and more than 15 years in NGO project management,
she focuses on using data and public opinion to shape better economic decisions. Oksana
specializes in survey-based research, studying how war, reforms, and EU integration
impact Ukraine’s business climate and society. She is also the author of Ukrainian
Business during the Wartimes, a monthly newsletter offering fresh insights into Ukraine’s
economic resilience. She has long explored corruption as a systemic issue and its impact
on the business environment. At IER, she leads Ukraine’s longest-running Business
Climate Survey, which tracks entrepreneurs’ perceptions of corruption, transparency, and
regulatory pressure. Oksana holds a master’s degree in sociology from Taras Shevchenko
National University of Kyiv and is passionate about sharing knowledge with the next
generation of change-makers.
