Vladyslav Piotrovskyi

Co-founder and CEO of Dwarf Engineering — a Ukrainian developer and provider of high-tech solutions for autonomous unmanned vehicles in DefTech. Vladyslav is 25 years old, originally from Odesa, and currently lives and works in Ukraine.

Experience

  • Co-founded Dwarf Engineering with a partner after winning the first “Drone Army” hackathon in 2022. The team evolved from developing autonomous guidance systems to launching Ukraine’s first operating system for the mass production of robotic platforms in the summer of 2025.
  • Prior to 2022, developed BI tools and analytical infrastructure for business process automation at a leading German eCommerce corporation.
  • Created RozkladBot — a popular service for Ukrainian university students with an audience of over 10,000 monthly active users.
  • Since his teenage years, Vladyslav has been developing independent R&D projects at the intersection of robotics, non-invasive neural interfaces, and astro-navigation.

Achievements

  • Dwarf Engineering was one of six Ukrainian DefTech startups selected by Rakuten and Brave1 to enter the Japanese market. Vladyslav is the youngest founder/CEO in this cohort.
  • Participant in the inaugural Deep Tech Security Accelerator by Stanford Research Institute — selected as one of 22 Ukrainian miltech representatives to study business scaling and global market entry.
  • Winner of the first “Drone Army” hackathon (2022) with a solo project: a neural interface system for controlling drones and prosthetics.
  • Two-time People’s Choice winner of the NASA Space Apps Challenge (2018–2019).

  • WINWIN Summit 2025 — panelist discussing Ukraine’s role in defense AI innovation and global positioning.

  • RESTART 2025 — presented KordycepsOS, a tool by Dwarf Engineering designed to set new collaboration standards in the defense sector.
